Vows HQ (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a shared wedding-planning workspace for couples. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not use tracking, and we show no ads.
We use this information solely to provide the app: to authenticate you, to control access to your wedding workspace (membership is by email), and to store and sync your planning data across your devices and with the partner you invite.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage), which processes data on our behalf. Your workspace data is visible only to the members you add to it.
AI advisor (Lovebird). When you tap "Ask Lovebird," a summary of your wedding planning data (task counts and categories, budget totals, vendor statuses, guest counts, and your wedding date) is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate personalised advice. No guest names, addresses, or other personal details about your guests are included. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf under their usage policies. We do not sell your information to third parties for their own purposes.
We keep your data while your workspace is active. You can request deletion of your account and workspace data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will remove it within a reasonable period.
Vows HQ is intended for adults planning a wedding and is not directed to children under 13 (16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
